Lantern Bay

Lantern Bay is a multi-home setting located 3 miles west of Bangor, MI. This site is the location of 5 specialized homes for males, each working with a variety of clients, providing care and support to reach individual goals. These homes provide a structured activities program during the day, and cafeteria style eating for lunch and dinner, where the clients are able to spend time with others and socialize. Community integration is provided through community based activities and outings, such as community lunches/dinners and a variety of recreational activities in the community.

Anchor Pointe North is a ten bed home located at the Lantern Bay site. Anchor Pointe North specializes in working with individuals who have both behavioral and socialization problems. Through the provision of a therapeutic environment, socialization opportunities, and a positive physical outlet we are able to help the clients in this home work toward their goals and gain more independence.

Anchor Pointe South is a ten bed home located at the Lantern Bay site. Anchor Pointe South specializes in working with individuals who have both behavioral and socialization problems. Through the provision of a therapeutic environment, socialization opportunities, and a positive physical outlet we are able to help the clients in this home work toward their goals and gain more independence.

Breakwater West is a ten bed home located at the Lantern Bay site. Breakwater West specializes in working with individuals with maladaptive behaviors as well as those requiring close supervision due to a risk of elopement. Through the provision of a therapeutic environment and positive physical and social outlets we are able to help individuals work toward individual goals and feel more invested in the treatment process.

Breakwater East is a ten bed home located at the Lantern Bay site. Breakwater East specializes in working with individuals with medical concerns and maladaptive behaviors that prevent them from living in many other settings. Through the provision of a therapeutic environment and close medical supervision we are able to improve the quality off life for the clients within our care. The clients are supported as they work through both their medical and psychiatric illnesses to reach their individual goals.

Wavecrest

Wavecrest is a sixteen bed home located at the Lantern Bay site. Wavecrest provides individual bedrooms for each client living in the home. Wavecrest specializes in working with individuals who are transitioning from a more intensive level of care to a more independent setting. Wavecrest provides opportunities for the clients to demonstrate greater behavioral control and appropriate decision making abilities. Through the provision of a therapeutic environment the clients at Wavecrest are able to work toward their individual goals and gain a greater level of independent functioning ability.
